A Fresh Aire II Composition

Mannheim Steamroller has released a collection of albums (beginning in 1977) known as the “Fresh Aire Series”. The composition “Velvet Tear” is from the second of the series (Fresh Aire II). The first four albums of the series are themed for the four seasons, Fresh Aire II comprising the summer.

Mannheim Steamroller may be best known for its albums and performances of Christmas music. In 1984 Steamroller released the first album of holiday music. Subsequently, Mannheim Steamroller has released several albums with Yuletide music and has become a top requested artist for Christmas tunes and carols.
