The Who - I Can See for Miles (Video)
The Who Performs
The Who were formed in 1964 and became one of the pioneer bands in rock. The band consisted of Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle and Keith Moon. In 1967 they released I Can See for Miles which became their biggest US single.
The group has sold in the neighborhood of 100 million records and were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as soon as they were eligible. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend are the surviving members of the group with Keith Moon passing away in 1978 and John Entwistle passing in 2002. Roger and Pete still perform, although Pete Townsend’s performances may not resume due to a return of tinnitus that he has battled.
