Cassette decks, due to the rise of CD and CD players, are no longer the sought after sound system components they once were. Yet, they have not quite gone the way of the Dodo bird. The dual auto-reverse cassette deck is still manufactured by some well-known companies. Pioneer and Onkyo still produce decks that offer high quality sonic performance.

Pioneer’s next offering of an dual auto-reverse cassette deck is the Pioneer CT-W606DR. It includes Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Noise Suppression, and Dolby® HX Pro for clean recording and playback. Additional features on the unit include CD Deck Synchro, normal/high speed dubbing relay play, music search, blank skip, and auto tape search.
